Avaap Launches On-demand Support offering
NEW JERSEY – Apr 21, 2009 --Avaap today announced the launch of a new Lawson on-demand support offering. The offering is intended to create the best practice approach to defining on-demand services around Lawson strategy combined with people, technology and operational best practices. This allows customers to move from reactive management to proactive management of Lawson applications, significantly improving availability and business continuity. The innovative offering works as a shared service model and is administered from remote, typically through Virtual Private Network (VPN). Services cover all of Lawson maintenance activities like trouble shooting application issue, user maintenance, patch management, performance tuning, product line maintenance, system maintenance and reporting services.

Organizations often face challenges in maintaining their Lawson applications. These include lack of subject matter expert across all applications, high maintenance cost but limited budget to support it, criticality of Lawson application to their business and the shortage of skills in the market for hiring.
