The 90s were a great time and if you’re heading to Inforum 2019, get ready for a taste of nostalgia! While modern-era, game-changing applications including Infor CloudSuite Financials and Supply Management, Infor Global Human Resources, Infor M3, and Birst are headlining the Inforum 2019 technology content, six-time Grammy award winner Christina Aguilera will take the main stage for the Inforum 2019 private customer concert. Part of the 90s theme entertainment will also include an appearance by first female hip-hop group to win a Grammy, Salt-n-Pepa, as part of The Hub opening on September 23.

Grab your scrunchie – the weather in NOLA is h-u-m-i-d in September!
The end of September is the winding down of hurricane season, meaning it can be hot and humid, but also brings bouts of rain. Daily highs hover around the mid-80s, so be sure to pack clothes that are light and breathable, but maybe throw in a sweater for the morning walks to the convention center. Anyone still have their heat-sensitive Hypercolor t-shirts?
Skip the sunglasses at night – visibility is in!

Salt-n-Pepa in the house!
Whatever cuisine you are in the mood for, The Big Easy has you covered. Beignets at Café du Monde is probably already on your list, but we recommend these other hidden gems when in town during Inforum 2019:
Mother’s Restaurant: Mother’s makes a perfect mid-day stop, offering 15+ different types of po’boys, as well as gumbo, jambalaya, and other seafood treats. Don’ forget to check out their walls, which feature a variety of stars who have frequented the location over the years.
Ruby Slipper Cafe: Forget Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Ruby Slipper is where there real magic happens. While its known for their egg dishes, you really can’t go wrong with any of their breakfasts. Want to carb load? Try an order of the Bananas Foster French Toast.
Acme Oyster House: Right off Bourbon Street, this seafood staple has all your Creole needs covered. Don’t let the long line steer you away. It moves quickly, especially in the off season.
Central Grocery & Deli: This was a recommended must-visit location I missed on my last Crescent City trip. A lesser known classic, Central Grocery & Deli is the home of the original Muffuletta sandwich. These sandwiches are big, so make sure you are prepared to save some for later or split with a colleague.
Don’t Go Chasin’ Waterfalls…
Try a ghost tour instead! After the Hub closes, find a walking ghost tour – they’re packed with New Orleans history and folklore! The tours are usually pay-what-you-like-style and include a guide who will take you around the French Quarter. If you’re not looking to walk anymore after a day in the Hub or are interested in something that includes an adult beverage, there are also plenty of bus tours or “ghouls and spirits” style-outings.
A Little Bit of Christina in My Life
The private customer concert is always an event to remember and Inforum 2019 will be no different. Six-time Grammy Award winning artist Christina Aguilera, known for chart-toppers including Fighter, Beautiful, and Genie in a Bottle, will take the stage Wednesday night to entertain a full house of customers, partners, product experts, Infor executives and employees.
See You Later, Alligator
Attendees planning to stay on in NOLA for a bit of sightseeing following the conference, New Orlean’s annual Alligator Festival kicks off Thursday, September 26 through Sunday, September 29. This event includes food, live music, crafts, rides, and more to raise money for local college scholarships.
